CREATIVE TACTICS

Giving children and their caregivers agency over a scary condition

Central precocious puberty (CPP) is a condition that affects children at an age when they're too young to fully understand what's happening to their bodies, and parents who are often just as unprepared. The emotional stakes are high: children who feel different from their peers, and caregivers navigating an unfamiliar diagnosis while trying to stay strong for their kids.

These two pieces were part of a full patient support ecosystem, each meeting its audience where they are.

The caregiver brochure gave parents the clinical grounding and practical guidance they needed to feel confident and in control of their child's treatment.

The comic book, part of a patient welcome kit, gave children a story they could see themselves in: two kids who discover they share the same experience, and realize that things will change just when they're supposed to.

The full campaign and set of experiences helped turn a potentially isolating experience into one where both patient and caregiver could feel informed, supported and empowered.
